When you go through a "failure", how do you know if this is a temporary thing, or is it more of a permanent setback?
That is the purpose of today's episode... Because the truth is we get these two things confused and a part of that is because of our English language.
Did you know in the Spanish language, there are actually two separate words that are used to differentiate between permanent and temporary?
Yes, there are two versions of the statements "I am"...
One means it's only going to be for a short time, and the other says it's going to be permanent.
But when it comes to English, we don't differentiate between the two.
So if you say things like, "I don't have the time. I'm not a good salesman. I'm not good enough," you brain tries to convince you those things are permanent.
Which is why we felt compelled to make today's episode, so you can become aware of when your brain is doing this, because there's nothing that can hold you back quicker than your brain convincing you that it's not possible because it's set in stone.
