Katherine Boyle

Founder

I’m Katherine, I am the founder of The Courageous Ones and an online fitness coach. I grew up in Philly, where my dad worked as Lieutenant in SVU. All my uncles and most cousins are/were also members of the Philadelphia Police Department.

After I moved to New York City for college, I lived there for 12 years and worked in fashion. I was never cop material but I did complete the NYPD Citizen’s Police Academy in 2019.

Living in New York as a single woman, I quickly recognized the power of online community and connection in my personal and professional life. Realizing this, and understanding that not every cop was as balanced as level headed as my dad, I decided to create my own community -- exclusively for police officers. The Courageous Ones is an online peer support system, offering encouragement and resources to help officers of law enforcement lead healthy, everyday lifestyles, and create healthy connections both at home and with one another.
